AVA PATHWAY PROGRAM

With Arbor Valley Academy's Pathway Program students can complete our American high school degree program at their own pace, allowing students to create the schedule that makes sense to them and to their families!

Online

Students must complete 18 credits in order to receive their US high school diploma. 10-12 credits will be transferred from their high school, in addition to the rest of the credits earned from AVA pathway program. 

On-Campus

The Arbor Valley Academy’s (AVA) Pathway Program has partnered with University of Toledo’s American Language Institute (ALI). The program provides intensive English training to AVA students who seek to strengthen their English language proficiency and improve their cultural competence.


AVA-ALI courses will be offered in University of Toledo's campus. Once the English requirements are met, our students will take the rest of the academic credits online via Edgenuity Platform.



Structure of the program

Student must satisfy proficiency level prior to admission


(x) Academic Credits

Students will take a minimum of 6 courses consisting of graduation requirements and student selected electives.


If Student require more courses:

A counselor will be assigned to each student to draft a student graduation plan based on student's preferred major concentration. 


ON-CAMPUS

AVA HIGH SCHOOL

AVA is fully acknowledged by the College Board as a private high school. AVA High School is designed to prepare high school students for an international education in the United States. We offer a range of training packages in a range of subject areas and can offer blended learning opportunities to best meet students’ needs who seek to strengthen their academic and English language skills and improve their cultural competence. 

Online Program

Arbor Valley Academy’s (AVA) 9-12 Online High School program offers students the opportunity to complete their degree fully online. Our program’s flexibility, support and curriculum promotes student growth. AVA’s online learning program is designed to be engaging and challenging by preparing students for the 21st Century and international education opportunities through our partnerships and US issued high school diploma. 

The online course delivery system gives you any time, any place access to assignments, online materials, and communication from instructors. Students can take self-paced courses with access to teacher support to ensure a rewarding online high school experience.


AVA INDIVIDUAL COURSES

High school students looking for more challenge can get the extra edge they need by taking Advanced Placement® (AP®) courses, 

This option is for students who are interested in a course(s) but do not wish to complete the entire program. Students can choose one of the many à la carte courses AVA offers.
